In our recent interview with Heph B behind the scene of his latest album (No Stressing), I was privileged to stand One on One with him after a long day of recording and shooting the video,
Heph B, An award winning Gospel hip-pop Artist with 9 Nominations. He started music at age 4 playing drums, later grew into playing the Piano and writing music. He his also an actor with few Movies under his belt that has featured Major Nigerian, Ghanaian and American actors. He his is vibrant and focus artist who uses his love for music to spread the Gospel, and his goal is to reach out to his generation, bringing awareness of whom Christ is.
As an artist Heph B has not limited himself just to the Christians alone but Non- Christians, whereby he has shared the stage with so many artist both American, Nigerian and Jamaican. Heph B classifies his music as life and positive vibe. He feels his style of music is genuinely different is out of the Norm from typical gospel music.
Heph B quotes- My music is for the streets and non believers because it a means to sow seed of reconciliation back to God".
Currently Heph B has broken into the Afro Hippop industry and he's planned to go far by bringing a change that the genre of music should limit the artist even as an Christian Artist. With the combination of his Nigerian background, American style of Rap music and love for Reggae/Dancehall, he has decided to put it all in one combination and produce a distinguished styled music which has not being heard as of yet. He has worked with different artist both international and in the U.S. as well as he his open to work with so many other artist in the industry... Fame and Money is not my goal because they will eventually run after me.
