Popular Yoruba actress, Toyin Aimakhu made it known to the press last year that she’s leaving Lagos for Ibadan. The actress has now finally moved to Ibadan, Oyo State, according to a report by blogger, Stella Dimokokorkus.

“Lagos is too stressful, and i am tired of all the wahala that comes with it, Ibadan is better and I can always travel to Lagos when I have a movie to shoot,” Toyin reportedly said.

The actress moved to Ibadan without her estranged actor husband, Adeniyi Johnson.

Céline Dion on Rene Angelil's Cancer Battle: My Husband Wants to 'Die in My Arms'

René Angélil, husband of Céline Dion, has died, his rep confirmed exclusively to PEOPLE on Thursday.

"Rene Angelil, 73, passed away this morning at his home in Las Vegas after a long and courageous battle against cancer," the rep said in a statement. "The family requests that their privacy be respected at the moment; more details will be provided at a later time."

Angélil, who guided Dion's career as her manager and mentor, is survived by the couple's three children – René-Charles, 14, and 5-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy – and his adult children from a previous relationship, Anne-Marie, Patrick and Jean-Pierre.

Angélil battled three bouts of cancer.

"We have asked [doctors] many times, how long does he have, three weeks, three months? René wants to know," Dion said in a candid interview with the USA TODAY" in August. "But they say they don't know."

The "My Heart Will Go On" singer added that she promised to keep Angélil's dying wish.

"I'll say, 'You're scared? I understand. Talk to me about it' … And René says to me, 'I want to die in your arms.' Okay, fine, I'll be there, you'll die in my arms."

And the singer said she would keep a brave face until the end.

"You can have your shaking knees at the end, but when someone you love falls and needs help, it's not time to cry," she said. "Afterwards, sure. But not yet."

Lamar Odom Released From Hospital After Brothel Incident

Former NBA star and estranged husband of Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom has left Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles on Wednesday, (Jan 6th). Lamar was admitted into Cedars-Sinai hospital shortly after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on October 13.

Immediately after he was released from Cedars-Sinai hospital on (Jan.6th), the 36-year-old was moved into a private facility that has been set up as a rehabilitation near Kardashian’s home. The move was said to have been made quickly and without even notifying Odom’s family

“Lamar is doing way better. He was so happy the kids were there with him for Christmas and they were so happy to be with him,” a source told US Weekly at the time. “The kids were happy … to bring him gifts, all of his favorite things that they wrapped up. They had so much fun. It was very emotional and very happy.“

Marvin Artist' Korede Bello in Academics Distaster.

Mavin artiste Korede Bello who had his matriculation for his Higher National Diploma (HND), at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), on November 9, 2015, is said to be have academic troubles in school.

Reports disclosed that, some of Korede Bello’s lecturers have threatened to resign if the
singer is allowed to write his exams because he has not met up with 70% of his class attendance for the semester.
He further added that the one of his lecturers in class on Wednesday, January 6, disclosed that he will resign if Korede Bello is allowed to sit for his exams later this year because he has not been attending lectures due to his busy schedule.

Apparently Korede Bello’s manager Casper didnt want to disclose anything concerning the singer’s academics when he was called.

Just few weeks to his matriculation, Korede won ‘The Song of the Year’ award at the 4th Annual Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards (GIAMA) that held last night in Houston, Texas. The event was hosted by Nigerian comedian and actor AY Makun.

This happened last night at the famous “club uno”  on Allen avenue, ikeja. Seyi Edun also known as Eja nla was already in the club with her friends as an after party of the one year ceremonial remembrance /concert of late nollywood matron, iyalode Bankole Adunni. Eyewitness said that lukman haruna barged in the club with his friends, disturbing the fun of other guests in the club. Lukman was seen splashing money in the air. Fun got worse for him when he splashed money on Seyi Edun’s “upper body” (chest)  as Seyi blasted him immediately and threw the money back at him. It is obvious that Seyi Edun and lukman haruna had never met each other before.
Seyi’s reaction shocked everyone including lukman particularly as he(lukman)  and his friends made a fruitful attempt to show remorse and appeal for splashing money in a disrespectful manner.
