‘Dagrin’s Death Really Had an Effect on Me’ – YQ
Almost 6 years after the death of one of the best rappers Nigeria has ever provided, Dagrin following a car accident, one of his closest associates, YQ has finally spoken on how the death affected him.
In a recent chat with NET, the singer, whose claim to fame was the song, ‘Efimile’ which featured the late rapper, disclosed that Dagrin’s death had a negative effect on him.
‘Dagrin’s death really had an effect on me, it really did but the effect on my career was just a bit. We had a project we were supposed to do together, we also had shared moments together which are very special. Dagrin inspired me and gave me hope which was really encouraging’, YQ said.

Popular Yoruba actress, Toyin Aimakhu made it known to the press last year that she’s leaving Lagos for Ibadan. The actress has now finally moved to Ibadan, Oyo State, according to a report by blogger, Stella Dimokokorkus.
“Lagos is too stressful, and i am tired of all the wahala that comes with it, Ibadan is better and I can always travel to Lagos when I have a movie to shoot,” Toyin reportedly said.
The actress moved to Ibadan without her estranged actor husband, Adeniyi Johnson.
The couple has grown apart since their fight last year.

Céline Dion on Rene Angelil's Cancer Battle: My Husband Wants to 'Die in My Arms'
René Angélil, husband of Céline Dion, has died, his rep confirmed exclusively to PEOPLE on Thursday.
"Rene Angelil, 73, passed away this morning at his home in Las Vegas after a long and courageous battle against cancer," the rep said in a statement. "The family requests that their privacy be respected at the moment; more details will be provided at a later time."
Angélil, who guided Dion's career as her manager and mentor, is survived by the couple's three children – René-Charles, 14, and 5-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy – and his adult children from a previous relationship, Anne-Marie, Patrick and Jean-Pierre.
Angélil battled three bouts of cancer.
"We have asked [doctors] many times, how long does he have, three weeks, three months? René wants to know," Dion said in a candid interview with the USA TODAY" in August. "But they say they don't know."
The "My Heart Will Go On" singer added that she promised to keep Angélil's dying wish.
"I'll say, 'You're scared? I understand. Talk to me about it' … And René says to me, 'I want to die in your arms.' Okay, fine, I'll be there, you'll die in my arms."
And the singer said she would keep a brave face until the end.
"You can have your shaking knees at the end, but when someone you love falls and needs help, it's not time to cry," she said. "Afterwards, sure. But not yet."

Nollywood actress, Stephanie Okereke-Linus who put to bed few months back has just lost her father.
The A-list actress who has been in America for the past five months lost her Dad a few days ago.
It was gathered that the 83-year old Chief Okereke took some medications and reacted badly.
Shortly after that, he passed on leaving behind his wife,children and grand children.
Due to the death, the bereaved actress will soon return to Nigeria with her hubby and son Maxwell to give their late father a befitting burial.
